I want the price to be based on the number of characters entered in a text box
complete

I would like to see a feature where the customer's price is changed based on the total length of all the characters that they have typed (this will of course change with different fonts and character sizing as well), as this will help to keep the price of neon/fabricated signs as lean as possible from the start, as the cost per cm material and manufacturing can be quantified. Alternatively, just having the price changed based on the number of characters would also work.

Now available in all customizers with text input questions. I just added a small screenshot to show how and where the feature is.
Thank you for all your votes.

Variable price by the amount of text

Price per word mechanic, so that people can type a customisation they want, and be charged per word.

I cut a lot of large vinyl lettering for customers who enter their own text. So even per letter would be great. Maybe with a multiplier for the height. Font height and width can vary greatly even when set to the same pt size so maybe this would need to be just based on the width * height area.

I have the same problem. I want to get paid per letter. How do we set this up? The application should calculate without selecting a customer.

Please allow for logic section to be aware of character counts of TextInput
Joseph Morgan
I would like the logic section to allow for rules that depend on character counts of user inputted text. For example: "When 'TextInput' character count is >= X then 'someOther element' is unavailable.
