Gabriel Xavier Picard I was so excited to see that this had been implemented, but I don't see any difference in functionality. Promo codes still do not work for kickflip configured products on my wix site. The link to the documentation provided below shows automatic discounts, but this feature was meant to be for coupon codes (promo code at checkout) - not for automatic discounts.

Hi Julie,
I understand your disappointment. There is two way to reduce prices in Wix : Discounts and coupons.
Sadly, why we were not able to integrate the "coupon" solution comes from the fact that Wix handles these two discount systems differently internally:
- Automatic discounts are applied directly to the product price and were compatible with our current integration.
- Coupons/promo codes rely on a different Wix data structure and checkout flow, which unfortunately is not currently accessible the same way through their integration layer.
Because of this limitation, we were only able to implement support for automatic discounts at this time.
That said, we understand the need for true promo code support configured products, and we’ve already opened a ticket with Wix to discuss possible improvements on their side that would allow us to support this properly in the future. We know this is an important distinction, especially for stores that rely on marketing campaigns and cart/checkout coupon codes, so we’ll continue monitoring this closely with Wix.
Feel free to open a new feature request if need be and I'll keep both requests updated accordingly.

Gabriel Xavier Picard I appreciate the explanation, but the need still exists for promo/coupon code support. Kickflip's support for automatic discounts already existed so I'm not sure why new feature requests are needed. THIS was the feature being requested here and nothing has changed. Can you just re-open this feature request please?

I have had two customers and 2 wholesalers who use promo codes to get their discounts, complain because their coupon codes do not work for configured kickflip products. I manually have to go in an refund each of them which is not only cumbersome, but costs time and money, but also instantaneous money as the initial transaction is charged a fee and then potentially the refund is charged a fee as well. This should be a normal operation of the kickflip configurator or should play well or normally in the wix environment. A basic functionality of an e-commerce transaction should not be excluded in an app designed for e-commerce. Especially when Kickflip is also taking a percentage of these sales, of which they are taking 100% of the initial sale price and not the actual post-promo code price. Which if you ask me is not fair to the store owner as that is not the actual price the piece sold for, but kickflip is getting the full percentage on the pre-promo price. This needs to be fixed soon please.

Support for Wix promo codes

As a business owner, I create and distribute promo codes for various reasons. Some are free product codes for sponsored customers or raffle winners. Others are Black Friday deals for those who post on social media about our products or for specific customers who have run into issues to give them more reason to come back. The current automatic discounts supported by kickflip do not allow for these scenarios. As a result we have had to put a disclaimer on all our Kickflip products and have to continue to support duplicate Wix products to allow for the use of those codes.

I agree. This seems like it should be an existing functionality. I currently have to manually refund the customer for coupon codes.

This is really impacting my baseball business as we cannot offer discounts to customized products on our platform. Is their a timeline to get this fixed?
