I would like to request a feature that allows merchants to link an existing Shopify product to a Kickflip configurator without generating a new Shopify product automatically.

Current limitation:

At the moment, when creating a product in Kickflip and connecting it to Shopify, a new product is automatically generated. This forces us to duplicate content (description, images, SEO data, metafields, etc.) and manually recreate everything. It also complicates inventory management and theme transitions.

Requested feature:

The ability to:

Manually assign a Kickflip configurator to an existing Shopify product.

Select an existing Shopify product during Kickflip product setup instead of creating a new one.

Sync inventory directly with the main Shopify product.

Avoid duplicating product pages and URLs.

Maintain SEO rankings and product authority.

Reduce migration time when changing themes.

Why this is important:

For stores with a large catalog, duplicating every product is time-consuming and increases the risk of inconsistencies (content, images, stock, metafields, SEO).

This feature would significantly simplify workflow, improve inventory accuracy, and make Kickflip much more scalable for growing brands.

I would love to be able to show my robust Shopify product page with image gallery, description, etc and then once they want to buy, move into the customizer to choose if they want to engrave their product and then build out precise customization.
