I would love to be able to show my robust Shopify product page with image gallery, description, etc and then once they want to buy, move into the customizer to choose if they want to engrave their product and then build out precise customization.

You can do it by choosing which KickFlip integration you want in settings. One is replacing the product page by the customizer, and the other option is converting the Add to Cart button to a Customize button.
